How To Retrieve Your Password
This article describes the process of getting a new password for your login.
What you have to know:
This process works when we have an account linked to your mail address. This is the case when:
- You have registered for EuroHash 2017. In this case, we will automatically create a community account for you. This process takes some days after you have registered and you will be notified by email.
- You have contacted us using the contact form before May 2016. Up to this date, we have automatically integrated all mail addresses that contacted us to the community. After May 2016, this has been stopped and you have to sign up for the community to be on the mailing list. (See HowToSignUpMailingList)
This "How To" describes how you can retrieve the password for your account. All you need to know is the email address that you have provided us upon registration.
To start the process, please navigate to the community page and click on the "Forgot Login" link in the Login module.

This will lead you to step 2.
Step 2: The "Lost-Your-Password" screen
This is the page, where you have to enter the email address that you have used for registration/sign up. Enter this email address.
If you have entered an email address that is not known to the system, which means, that does not have a user account, you will get a message like this:
But usually you should get this message telling you, that your new password has been sent to your given email address.
Step 3: Your new password and first login:
You will receive an email that looks like this:
The email gives you the password that you will need to login. Please note, the login name is your email address.
The Password that you will get might contain "0" (the number Zero) or "O" (capital letter O). In most cases your email system will display this correctly (the digit with a dot inside). But we have reports, that some systems do not show a difference. This is a setting of your system and can not be influenced by us.
Go back to the website and navigate to the community page. Enter your email address and your new password in the appropriate fields and click the "Log In" Button.
Step 4: You have made it - Welcome to EuroHash Community!
After you logged in, the system will show a message telling you that you have successfully logged in. You will also see the community menu.
Step 5: What to do when this process did not work:
In case you experience problems please come back to us with your questions ( use the contact [at] Eurohash.... address or the contact form). If possible, please also send us a screen shot of the error you get as well as information on your operating system and browser type and version.
- This process can be repeated as often as you want (with a maximum of 3 times per hour for spam protection purposes). So whenever you forgot your password, just retrieve a new one. But please make sure, you always use the newest one!
